Directions for use
Apply generously on slightly wet skin after a bath or shower to seal in long-lasting moisture or whenever the skin is in need of support and nourishment. Consistent use helps to support and soothe the skin. Always patch test before use and allow 24 hours.
Grounding Ritual
STEP 1 - SET INTENTION
Start your day out feeling centred & connect with self. Open the curtains or blinds, allow yourself a few mindful moments to welcome daylight into your space. When the eyes are exposed to light, the brain sends signals to the body that are associated with wakefulness.
STEP 2 - MASSAGE
For Face Application:
Always apply to clean skin. Take 3 - 5 drops of the oil, warming it between the palms by gently rubbing them together. Hover hands in front of the face and inhale deeply, allowing the subtle scent of Raspberry to calm your mind.
Slowly, massage the oil into the face and neck with upward strokes from the collarbone towards the jawline and from the jawline to the cheeks. Massage upwards towards the forehead and finish with circular pressures into the temples with fingertips. Repeat this 3 - 6 times.
Finish by cupping the hands over the eyes, allowing this sensation to further calm the mind.
For Body Application:
Ideally apply after a shower or bath. Take 5 - 6 pumps of oil into the palms, rub together to warm the oil, then cup hands and hover in front of the nose. Take a moment to inhale the deeply soothing aroma.
Start at legs, sweep up over feet and ankles, move up the calves, to the knees then upwards over the thighs and follow the curve of hips, waist and buttocks. Pay particular attention to the joints by circling around them with fingertips.
Move to the hands, and sweep upwards from fingertips to shoulders.
Cup the hands on the stomach and focus on breathing, circle around the stomach in a clockwise direction.
Sweeping across the chest in soft flowing motions with fingertips, taking a moment to appreciate the soothing aroma. Allow your hands to rest on your lap or by your side as you take a few moments for some grounding breathwork.
STEP 3 - BREATHE
Find a comfortable position, seated of lying down
Bring your awareness to your breath, notice the rise and fall with each inhale and exhale. Take a slow deep inhale through your nose, hold it here for a moment before exhaling slowly. On your next inhale, as you breathe in through your nose, squeeze both hands into a tight fist. Hold it here for a moment. As you breathe out through your mouth, allow your fingers to relax and release as you rest your hands beside you. Repeat this 3 times.
Repeat this throughout the day, as needed.
