Directions for use
Gently massage onto hands and feet twice a day and breathe deep. Use as a hand and foot mask: Cover the hands/feet in a thick layer of balm and cover with cotton gloves/socks. Can make feet slippery, use with care. Consistent use helps to support and soothe dry and compromised skin. Always patch test before use and allow 24 hours.
Grounding Ritual
STEP 1 - SET INTENTION
Create a calming, peaceful ambiance by dimming the lights and closing the curtains. This muted lighting helps signal to your body that it’s time to wind down.
STEP 2 - MASSAGE
Find a comfortable position, seated of lying down
HANDS:
Take a pea size amount of the balm, rub hands together to soften & warm the balm, then cup hands and hover in front of the nose. Take a moment to inhale the deeply soothing aroma.
Use a hand-washing motion to spread the balm all over your hands, gradually increasing pressure if desired.
Taking one hand at a time, use your thumb to draw a slow firm circle in the palm of the other hand, repeat by 6, then repeat on the other hand.
Gently squeeze and apply pressure to each finger & thumb starting at the nail bed, working back towards the heart.
Shake out both hands for a few moments and allow them to rest on your lap.
FEET:
Take a pea size amount of the balm, rub hands together to soften & warm the balm, then cup hands and hover in front of the nose. Take a moment to inhale the deeply soothing aroma.
Taking one foot at a time, gently massage to spread the balm all over, gradually building pressure if desired.
Gently squeeze and apply pressure to each toe starting at the nail bed, working back towards the heart.
STEP 3 - BREATHE
Bring your awareness to your breath, notice the rise and fall with each inhale and exhale. Take a slow deep inhale through your nose, hold it here for a moment before exhaling slowly. On your next inhale, as you breathe in through your nose, squeeze both hands into a tight fist. Hold it here for a moment. As you breathe out through your mouth, allow your fingers to relax and release as you rest your hands beside you. Repeat this 3 times.
